Annual Spring Fling Dance is on May 26. The first Peel Pride party of the year takes place at our new venue Kalamata Restaurant and Banquet Hall located at 3473 Lakeshore Blvd. W, Etobicoke starting at 9:00pm.  Join members of the community as we kick off another year of fabulous Pride events taking place right here at home.  Cover is $5.00 at the door, with all proceeds going towards the 9th annual Pride Day picnic.  Catch up with old friends, meet new ones, and welcome new members to our community! (19+ event)

Proclamations!!!

The 2nd annual Proclamation of Pride Week will be made by the Town of Caledon on June 12, 2012, celebrating Pride in Peel Region from July 9 to July 15.   

The City of Brampton will present the 9th annual Proclamation of Pride Week on June 20, 2012, celebrating Pride in Peel Region from July 9 to July 15. The proclamation takes place shortly after 1:00pm, and members of the public and the LGBT Community are welcome to join us at Brampton City Hall, 2 Wellington Street, Brampton, Ontario.

Pride Week in Peel – July 9th, 2012 to July 15th, 2012


Monday July 9th, 2012 - Pride week in Peel beings with the 9th annual flag raising at Brampton City hall, taking place at 12:30pm. Join the Pride Committee of Peel as we celebrate the beginning of the week long festivities.

Tuesday July 10, 2012 - The Pride Week in Peel March and Community Fair brings Pride to Mississauga for the 5th year. This annual event organized by community agencies and volunteers celebrates Peel’s diverse LGBTTIQQ2S* communities and our allies. The event, featuring a fantastic Pride March and an outdoor family-friendly Community Fair with free food, performances, DJ's and a showcase of LGBTTIQQ2S-friendly resources, continues to be an opportunity to come together, to celebrate and to advocate for the creation of more safe spaces in Peel. Join us from 5pm-9pm at Mississauga Celebration Square to march in solidarity against homophobia, transphobia, and to celebrate all human rights.

Friday July 13, 2012 – The 9th Annual Pre-Pride party takes place at Kalamata Restaurant and Banquet Hall – 3473 Lakeshore Blvd. W, Etobicoke, Ontario from 9 until closing! Join us as we let our hair down, with a live DJ, dancing, fabulous prizes, and the best part...meeting up with old and new friends! Cover is $5.00 at the door. (19+ event)

Saturday July 14, 2012 – Health & Wellness day hosted by the East Mississauga Community Health Centre.

Sunday July 15 - The ninth annual Peel Pride Day will be from noon until 4:00pm at Heart Lake Conservation Area. The annual Pride Day picnic is an all ages family oriented event to celebrate Pride in Peel, and bring awareness to the diversity of the LGBT community. There will be games for kids and adults, along with prize draws and giveaways throughout the day. This event is rain or shine, and always concludes with the annual guys versus gals tug of war. Lets see if the guys can steal back the title for 2012!
